Welcome to 1st Shipley Scouts

We’ve been welcoming children and young adults to our Scout Group for over 90 years. That’s 90 years of fun and adventure! We offer activities for everyone from the age of six to eighteen and we’re always looking for new members.

Whether you’re a parent looking for your child or you’re interested in joining Explorers, our website will give you all the information you need. Don’t forget our Scout Group also has a range of facilities for hire – from renting marquees, to hiring our site.

From making new friends to getting involved in lots of outdoor activities, there are so many benefits to joining our Group. You can become a member of the Scouting family from the age of six as a Beaver, through to Explorers, for young adults from the ages of fourteen to eighteen. There is a place for everyone.
